Lea Forest Primary Academy is a happy, dedicated and enthusiastic academy. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being and welfare of all of our children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We work hard to provide a stimulating environment in which each child can realise their full potential, developing their individual abilities, alongside the acquisition of skills and establishing positive values and attitudes.

Lea Forest Primary Academy is a larger than average two form entry community academy that was originally built as two separate buildings over an extensive site in 1938. The academy has approximately 428 children on role from 3 to 11 years old. There are 12 classes across our Key Stage 1 and 2 phases and a dedicated Foundation stage with separate Nursery and Reception departments.

We are committed to providing our students with a good education, which prepares them for adult life and equips them with suitable decision making skills. In an ever more competitive world we feel that it is is vital that our children are trained to have high expectation of themselves, their work and those around them.

At Lea Forest Primary Academy we have several targets we strive to meet:

  • We want to instil our pupils with a sense of pride and achievement  both academically and personally
  • We seek to build positive relationships with our pupils, parents and the wider community by fostering understanding, respect and consideration for those in our community and the wider world.
  • We want our students to experience a wide range of opportunities that stimulate learning and achievement within an environment that is safe and secure.
  • We aim to work in close partnership with all of our parents, carers and external agencies, to ensure that all of our students’ individual needs are being met.

Please feel free to contact the main office should you have any questions- our friendly and helpful staff are always happy to help.
