Caldicotes Primary Academy became part of the Academies Enterprise Trust on April 1st 2013. We are proud to be an inclusive setting where children learn, are challenged and are inspired through the range of stimulating learning opportunities both indoors and outside.

We work in partnership with families to ensure all children achieve their potential and are challenged to make their best better. You will always receive a warm welcome at Caldicotes and are encouraged, through various events and opportunities, to participate in sharing these experiences with your children.

We are at the start of a new exciting phase in our learning pathway as an Academy and we invite you to join us on our journey to make our academy the best it can be.

Our Shared Vision

Caldicotes Primary Academy is a happy, hard-working team of children, staff, governors and parents. Individual needs are met and challenged, talents are fostered and developed and success is rewarded and celebrated at every opportunity. We work together to be the best we can be.

Academy Aims

·         To challenge and inspire all to have ambition and achieve their potential using a variety of creative teaching and learning techniques through enriching learning experiences

·         To provide a safe, secure, stimulating environment in which we foster a caring and respectful attitude to people of different religions, cultures and race

·         To provide and develop a diverse community based learning environment, where we work in partnership with the community in an open, honest and trusting atmosphere

·         To develop resilience, determination and a positive attitude to learning and taking risks, in preparation for becoming a confident member of the local and wider community
