Newington Primary is a very special learning community. We are a 2 form entry primary based in Hull and proud to serve the communities of Central and West Hull. Over the last three years, significant investment in our building and commitment from our talented staff team has meant that attainment has risen and we are a securely 'good' school (Ofsted - October 2018).

We are looking for a part time Teaching Assistant to join our enthusiastic and friendly team. The role will involve providing support, care and supervision of pupils in various play, learning and other daily activities In the Early Years Foundation Stage. The successful candidate will be able to maintain a safe working environment, be able to work well as part of a team and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Previous experience of working with children would be an advantage. 

Our foundation unit is a mixed unit of FS1 and FS2 children. We operate a fully free flow learning environment with a large outdoor area. We are the school of choice in our culturally diverse catchment area. Our pupils have a range of diverse needs including children with EAL and SEND. In January 2020 we will be full to capacity on pupil numbers in both FS1 and FS2:with a long waiting list. You will be joining a truly inspirational team of Early Years professionals who work as a team to deliver a first class Early Years education.

This post is fixed term until 31st August 2020 and is required to commence January 2020.  Interviews are scheduled to take place on Thursday 19 December 2019.
