Job Description

£15 per hour

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Theatre Technician to work in our state of the art 400 seater Rose Theatre. The successful candidate will work closely with the Theatre Manager and Director of Drama providing technical support for whole school events and productions.  Ability in maintaining and using lighting and sound equipment, set building, technical rigging, lifting and carrying, working safely at heights is expected. An electronics background is an advantage. There is a requirement to work with children. The post is part time for 1400 hours per annum and includes evening and weekend work, mostly during term time.  Some holiday work will also be expected, particularly at half time.
